P90X/Insanity

Hey Yall,

So its been awhile since I’ve seen Tumblr lol, school and work have been hectic for me I’m sorry! But starting tonight I shall be doing better. So Monday was my birthday and my family got me all the sports gear that I asked for: new shoes, Polar FT7 heart rate monitor, new shorts, new shirts, socks, and undershirts. So I’m definitely extremely happy about that. Yesterday 6/28 I did the Insanity Fit Test, I didn’t do so great but I’ll post my numbers at the bottom of this. Today I did P90x Ab Ripper X & P90x Chest & Back, I also did like 1/2 of Insanity Plyo. I’m starting this doubling method of combining both Insanity and P90x, because I want to have toned and sleek muscles but I gotta get rid of the layer of fat on top of them. I’m not to fond of P90x cardio x or plyo x(AT ALL). For one Cardio X (doesn’t push me enough), Plyo X (kills my knees and ankles) but Insanity Plyo does some different moves that don’t put as much pressure on my lower joints so yup thats what i’m going with. I only did 1/2 of it because the link I found doesnt load past a certain point (which was driving me crazy) but I’m just waiting for my Insanity to come in, so it’ll have to do for now. Today I found this great website http://tweakfit.com/p90x-vs-insanity-workout-routine-comparison because I wanted an alternative to the pen and paper style of recording reps and weight during workouts and this kid basically sets it all out for you. He has both an PDF and excel version of both Insanity’s and P90x’s workout schedules and worksheets. It makes it really easy you just click the links, type in the numbers, and it even automatically keeps up with your dates for you, and of course the best reason of all ITS GREEN!!!! But yeah yall should check it out. Nutrition is going good, except for the fact that I havent been hungry at dinner time at all this week, which is REALLY bad. But I’m hanging in there. I have the ultimate temptation in my kitchen right now: Red Velvet Cupcakes :-/ (one of my fav desserts ever, but I’m holding strong!lol) Ohh I love this HRM!!! Yall should get one if you dont have one already, it really helped esp during Insanity.
